Haven't bought gas in a few weeks, cheap gas is nice but I wonder what the prices will be when demand picks back up and production has been cut way back.

It's not oddly. Happens every time there's a drop in oil prices. Prices come back faster and higher than they were before every single time.

Gas prices jumped 20 cents this last week around here. Some are still at 1.54 but quite a few went to 1.74. Must be expecting an uptick in travel for Memorial Day. Lock down be damned. 😃

Yesterday, paid 1.58 for 10% ethanol-- 2.18 for non-ethanol-- and 1.79 for off-road diesel.

Today's newspaper (San Antonio Express News) had an article stating that companies are currently reopening shut wells in the Permian Basin.

Once phased plans to reopen businesses were announced gas prices here have jumped over the past couple of weeks .70¢ from a average low of .99 ¢ a gallon to an average of $1.69 .

Oddly, the one location that remained the highest priced all through the low price weeks is now the lowest at $1.59 a gallon.

I paid $1.18 for unleaded in Greenville, TX 2 days ago. That's the cheapest I have seen gas in quite awhile. Same station had diesel for $1.82.

Jumped from $1.29 to $1.89 in a week or so here. As soon as oil futures began upward price at pump did too. Fast for gas to rise, slowwwww to decrease.
