I’ve been watching this TV show lately at night on Dish. Pretty predictable acting but entertaining. Good scenery with Heather Locklear. I’m wondering what model S&W does Hooker use? I’m thinking a 28. I wish I could shoot as well as he does with it. I like looking at the older vehicles from the late 70’s and early 80’s on the show as well. Kinda a flash back to my youth.

Although I wrote for T.J. Hooker, I wasn't on the set when they were filming so I don't know what revolver Shatner carried. What the prop department had for him probably as that's the way it was done.
T.J. Hooker was a uniformed police (LAPD) show whereas Rockford Files was a private eye show. Big difference. I've written for other private eye shows but never wrote for Rockford Files.

"Always go straight forward, and if you meet the devil, cut him in two and go between the pieces." (William Sturgis, clipper ship captain, 1830s.)
Hell, I thought Heather Locklear was the only person on that show.
One of my buddies had a class with Heather Locklear when they were both Freshman at UCLA. She was taking classes, modeling, and had a few TV gigs on the side, I think he said she'd appeared on CHiPs during that time. 1979-1980ish.
He says that she was so stupendously gorgeous in those days that when she entered the classrooms, even the girls stared at her. Said in real life she was on the thin side, but had that Farrah Fawcett hair, killer figure, and 1000 watt smile.
Said she was really nice, but he could hardly carry on a conversation with her without being intimidated by her good looks or his momentary lack of blood to his brain.
"The Democrat Party looks like Titanic survivors. Partying and celebrating one moment, and huddled in lifeboats freezing the next". Hatari 2017
"Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid." Han Solo
It was OK. Worth watching because of Heather Locklear. 🤠
Rockford Files was much better, IMO. One of my favorites.

I was always intrigued on how his car sounded. I realized one day that I could flip the breather lid over on my dad's 76 chevy pickup with a 350 and it made the same noise.
