The crap-storms have just moved from their birthplace, the optics forum, into the Campfire forum with spillover into others. The hate and discontent is probably the same, it's just spilled over into other forums.
I do think a lot of guys have become more "bold" with the anonymity provided by the internet forum environment. Realistically we could change the name of this forum to 24 Hour Campfire and High School Locker Room.
There are of course two portions of the Campfire. 1.) The Hunter's Campfire 2.) Everything else I still say that the "everything else" is tough to beat but it has been falling off due to a lack of policing by more knowledgeable members. The Hunter's Campfire is farrrrr better than it used to be. It was a Jerry Springer Show +P for quite some time.
