I’ve got a first cousin and her husband much the same. When discussing things and you ask them simple questions about the democrats, you can clearly see that the light ain’t on and the ability to connect relevant dots is totally missing.

They are out of ideas to get Trump, as witnessed by recycling BOTH this whistle blower thing and the return of Russian collusion.

They are forgetting their Alinsky:

and they fail in offering an alternative to Trump for jobs, economy, immigration, infrastructure. All they have is perks for Green energy and forgiveness of student loans. That's their offering beyond Resist! and Obstruct! Trump so they fail Alinsky 12.

It would be hilarious if we could get about 500 people here to sign up and be unpaid trolls there for about a week. Just for kicks, I did this before the last election for about 2 days. Couldn't take it anymore after that. It was like being behind enemy lines without a radio. I actually pretended to be one of them, and torpedoed Hillary at the same time. I would say stuff like "Trump can't win but Hillary is a horrible candidate. We really should have nominated Bernie, he's our man." I would bash the Democrat establishment constantly and complain about how Bernie was robbed and how I was just going to "stay home on election day because Hillary stole the nomination." ROTF. I even converted some folks and got some PMs from these nutjobs trying to start a friendship with me.

They very aggressively ban and remove posts from people that are trolling them. On the campfire the trolls get the run of the place and we have an entertaining time of kicking them around. Over at DU as soon as they sniff somebody's not a member of the groupthink communist club they'll ban them and remove all their posts. No dissent from the party line is allowed.

I read DU all the time. It is truly amazing that there are people alive that think like most of them. I've often wondered how our country could elect somebody like Obama, after seeing the level of stupidity on display at DU it's not hard to understand.

They don't run you off if you pretend to be one of them. You just need to shower a couple times a day to get the slime off you.

I wanted to troll that site. I attempted to walk gingerly into their midst, not rushing to point out their inadequatecy, and they banned me for some gentle, benign question before i could get going. I think i had questioned if some hillary information was damning.

See that's where you went wrong. You should have made a post about how Hillary was an establishment hack, how they were probably going to screw Bernie out of the nomination. And then bring up the damning information. Then they would have assumed you were a disgruntled, socialist Bernie cult member. But you would have been given a pass to bash Hillary at that point. LOL.

You could go over there with a monicker like "FeelTheBurn2020" and post about how Bernie got screwed by the DNC establishment once again and how "we" are left with some second rate establishment puppet as a Democrat nominee. Then talk about how the Democrat Party is basically as bad as the Republicans because they are running a pasty old white guy, out of touch with the common people, and abandoning women, minorities and gays. LOL. This stuff just writes itself.
