Id opt for the rv/motorhome and pull a trailer with The samurari and boat. Your wife will probably be a lot more comfortable in a rv, you can drive, she can cook, nap whatever she wants.

I haven't convinced my wife yet that a winter trip would be fun. I have done it myself and it was fine..... my camper is a 4 season unit.

My wife and I are outdoor people and the gazebo is a great idea. I don't think a winter trip is in our plans. Is there enough room to tote tools in your slide-in camper? I like to have a good amount of hand tools, small air compressor and a little mig welder with me when I go bear hunting and that's just 7 hours away.
