Here is my trijicon in talley lows...as you can see it could go even lower, but the ocular is pretty large.

I really like the scope. My only criticism is that when the reticle is illuminated, the windage dots should NOT be illuminated, only the central crosshair. Its a small gripe. I haven't found a better set up based on my preferences, even for more money (I got this one for $800 by combining a coupon and an sale, pre-corona BS)

That’s a good looking scope!

Thanks for posting the picture. Looks like plenty of tube length for either a long or a short action.

Through the scope pictures at 2x ; 6x ; and 10x would be nice to see.

Have you done a box test? How does it track? POA/POI
Scope easy to get behind? How's the eye box?

Obliged.

Now you've got me playing with the scope while I should be working....

It is very easy to get behind. I can throw it up and have a clear view at 2x everytime. 10x is tighter, of course, but not really not much. Eye relief at 10x is about 3.5, while about 3.75 at 2x. Less than some others, but more than enough on this light recoiling rifle. I can transition through the whole magnification range without noticeably moving my cheek weld...

2x is WAY better than 3x on SWFA 3-9 (Got one sitting on my tikka, right next to this one). No tunneling at all.

I haven't done any tracking tests. Sighted in at 100, using reticle to measure and adjust. Was dead on after second group. I will be shooting it a fair amount this summer to prep for deer and (HOPEFULLY) antelope. I'll report back.

I just tried to take some reticle pics with my phone and it is fiddly as F! Could not get the reticle in focus. Nothing to do with the scope though. I'll try to screw with it later

2.5-10 x42 will fit on lows and will get you wide field of view (see the tip of your barrel) and 10 will get you out there if need to.
I think vortex has 1-10x24 but be ready to pay the piper

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

Yeah, CORDrew’s input about the eyepiece being large is spot on. The big eyepieces are probably limiting low mounts more than the objectives.

Now, if it were 2.5, and 5 MOA that would give about 300 and 400.

I like that Maven, from the specs at least. Just wish it had a better reticle.

The Trijicon looked good until I checked the weight, 23oz. Guess if you have a super light rig that won’t be too bad but for a rifle that goes about 7lbs bare that kills it for me.
Folks like myself that have no interest in twisting knobs or heavy scopes just have to find and buy older Leupold 6x36s with the LR Duplex reticle or similar sized variables with their B&C reticle. I have some of each and will just move them around to whatever rifle I’m going to hunt with. Darn shame the market has moved away from us.

It is a heavy little devil. Pretty niced sized optic though. I'd like to try one.

Trijicons are tanks, and super bright. I have a 1.8-8 and a 2-10 Razor HD LT’s which fill that role well enough for me.

I agree with the OP that scope described would be awesome on lots of levels.
