I am selling a very good condition Ruger. I traded into this some time ago in anticipation of a future moose hunt that I no longer have on radar. I have not shot it and it comes with only what you see. I am willing to separate the rifle and scope, but would rather to keep them together. Price for the combo is $1300 plus shipping. Price for rifle or scope separately is $700 plus shipping.

Bump for an outstanding rifle/scope combo. If you're a hand loader, the African is a very versatile rifle. With 235 grain Hot Cores loaded to medium pressure, recoil is surprisingly low. 300 grain pills over a stout charge hit pretty hard, but the recoil is manageable. And that's the perfect scope. I'd be all over this if I didn't already have one! My African quickly became one of my favorite rifles.

That is a killer deal for the rifle. I'm not familiar with the scope. I'm a lefty or I'd probably be on this, even though i have at least one of each model, Guide Gun, FTW, and African. Setting up the African for open country, and the Guide Gun for in the trees. I really like the cartridge. Great advantage of the RH model is that you can actually get 3 in the mag. LOL

I just sold the twin to the scope for about the same price. Good glass. Very clear. Good in low light. And very generous field of view on 1x.

Original post was almost a year old when I bumped it. I had plans to use the scope on a suppressed 300 BO. I have a gentleman that has made a fair offer on the scope that I am considering. I just didn’t want someone to start making lowball offers.
