Son of a vitch.

Been awhile since I had real good apple pie, like since Nascar Sears Point 2003.

Baste rib with it? You Bastard.

Tri-tip on the BGE, beans, salad, and grilled sourdough bread. Jalapeno popper chicken wings for hors d'oeuvres. Plenty of adult beverages.

Actually not. Most of the lighter color is dead grass from the first cutting then mowed again. It was pretty darn long from all the rain and finally had to bite the bullet and go for it.

Go through this every year because it never dries out during early spring. Honestly think the hills back here contribute to the crazy weather

Mulching blade?

Apologies for the sidetractor.

Regular blade. Mulching blade doesn't do well here. VERY THICK GRASS this time of year due to rain every day for weeks. I actually have two mowers to keep after this . One will walk through 8 in grass or even mow my big field with 18 inch stuff. My 60 inch finish mower cuts like a country club but chokes on anything wet like this time of year. Unfortunately the other mower has an electronic gizmo attached to the carb and it died. Waiting for the part. Strange year.

Here's what a nice yard looks like. HOME SWEET HOME.
