Wabiggon, you’ve had much success with many of your surveys....so, I thought I’d try.
I heard a radio DJ state that the US per person, annual egg consumption was 290 eggs /year! I figure I’m right near 1000/year!
So, how many do you figure that all of you folks consume/year! memtb

I don't have a hard number or estimate of what we consume but I can make a hand at egg eatin' time ...

Not as many as I once did, Bacon, and eggs most mornings. When Gilbert is here he has scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Maybe a dozen a week.

Can’t say anything about foods that contain eggs as a part of their ingredients. But in terms of boiled, fried or scrambled, 2-4 per week. On the high side 150 per year.

Not counting in baked goods, 12 a week. On average. I added 60/ year (guesstimate) to my breakfast count, for what I consume in baked goods and the occasional tuna fish sandwich. I had breakfast at 965/year! memtb

Unless they're in baked goods the number would be ZERO !!! Haven't ate an egg in 50 years due to a dare of eating a dozen, twice, if you know what I mean .

we have a few hens. I probably eat an average of 2/day, roughly 700/yr. That's our own eggs, not counting what's in food we buy.

Family of 6 and we go through about 2-3dz/wk for breakfast. Guess that puts us a little more than 300 per person per year.

Well over 1,000 table eggs. Another 100 or so as ingredients in cooking.

I have a homemade egg McMuffin every day. Some weekends I’ll have 2 or 3 fried eggs for breakfast, just for a change. So I guess I’m at about 400/year, personally. Add in the 3 or 4 times a week Slavyanka makes an omelette and we use probably 600 a year.

I'd be awful close to a thousand at least. I do eggs often in the mornings. An egg sandwich for lunch isn't uncommon. And we do breakfast for dinner couple times A month as well.
I've got 20+ chickens. So we make use of them.

Average 2 eggs per day for breakfast = 700 per year. Sometimes 3 eggs if I know lunch time is questionable. Cholesterol still stays within the control limits. Drives the wife crazy...
