I like them. I think they are very good scopes. They were a good optic 10 years ago. Now everyone is spending $1k on glass.... I am still buying Elites when I find them.

Agree.

One of the best scope deals is the now discontinued Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40. I bought several when they were closing them out at around $265-$285.

You can sometimes pick them up used at similar prices.

Most scope for the buck, ever, at least in my opinion.

I like them better than the VX-3 or the 4200, have had and used all the above.

I once mounted a 3200 for a friend. Wasn't impressed, never got one, don't want one. 3500 about the same as the 3200, IMO.

yep those 3x9 conquests are pretty darn good, you have to spend ALOT more money to get better optics. I kinda thought the eye relief on them was a touch long. The conquests had a notch better glass than the 4200's still very good. The bushnell elite 3200's are great scopes for rimfires and guns you don't need to have with the nicest scopes out there. I like 3200's for my non serious rifles, rimfires, backup guns etc. the 4200's will have quite a bit better glass. still some of my favorite scopes ever. japanese built. its sad people preferred buying the junk that vortex sells, and so the stores quit selling them.

dirt farmer, check out the zeiss v4's I am actually trading out of some scopes to get more of them. just bought a 3-12 to check out a few minutes ago actually. The v4's have the japanese optical formula, which I prefer, but with steller glass.

Thanks for the heads up.

I've never handled a V4, have read about them.

Some?

I personally don’t see a lot; I’m not in the market for either.

YMMV

They are awesome for a set and forget scope. The guys buying the "$1,000.00+" rifle scopes are more than likely using them for dialing... I've ran the 3200's and 4200's without fail. Excellent scopes that still hold their value in todays current market... I also believe it was about 20+ years ago (1998 was the first year I saw them, but badged under the bausch and lomb name) when they first came out with their proprietary "rain guard" coating... Be warned though, if you scratch this coating, you are chidt out of luck for Bushnell to warranty it.. BTDT..
