He got the leader at least but I have no doubt that the rest of the pack would've assisted once the attack was underway. The old lady was saved by passersby in a car. He beat them with jumper cables until they let go and came after him. They saw he was going to fight and went away...

I also would have killed that white bitch. But I saw no signs of aggression in either of the two other dogs. The officer stated that the brown one was trying to protect him, which I thought ludicrous. But after watching the tape a couple more times, it sure looks that way. The brown dog was biting at the white dogs ears and jumping on her from the moment she headed toward the cop. And she actually rolled the white one off over the embankment. It might have just been puppy play, thinking the white dog was just running and playing. The brown and the black dog acted like they might have been her pups. My conclusion is the officer did exactly what needed done. Hopefully the owner of the other two dogs will keep them contained from now on, and hopefully away from those sweet babies. But I sure would not count on it. People who choose to brew up their own storms bitch loudest about the rain.
