Riot Police, National Guard 'Completely Abandon' Perimeter in Minneapolis, Chased Away by Protesters BY PAULA BOLYARD MAY 29, 2020 9:53 PM EST
Townhall’s Julio Rosas is on the ground in Minneapolis this week, reporting on the protests and riots. Tonight he’s reporting that the riot police and the National Guard have abandoned a perimeter they had set up earlier in the day, chased away by the rioters.
For the fourth night in a row, protesters and rioters have descended on Minneapolis to protest the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer, who was arrested and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter on Friday afternoon.
The city is under a curfew order, but rioters are refusing to disperse.
The situation on the ground is extremely volatile right now. Rosas says riot police shot him with a “non-lethal weapon” as he was kneeling some distance away, observing the scene.
Julio Rosas ✔ @Julio_Rosas11 · 3h Replying to @Julio_Rosas11 As I was recording the National Guard and riot police falling back from their positions as the crowd began to throw projectiles at them, I got shot with a non-lethal weapon by riot police. I wasn't close to them and I was kneeling down with my phone in my hand.

I think that when it comes to the National Guards there the people in power are afraid of another Kent State and are giving rules of engagements that are not going to stop the restless natives.
So what does a shop owner use against a group of looters other than the police, national guard and an insurance policy? Too bad that average people can’t buy rubber bullets and pepper balls for their paint ball guns.

I propose cameras on anything that’ll hold a camera. I’ll volunteer to review the tapes, on the condition felony charges are brought to every individual involved in a felony.
If nothing else, that would be the end of the Democrat party through loss of voting rights.
Dutch, A felony doesn't automatically prevent one from voting anymore. There is even a push to allow voting from prison.
On the riots.
We can't shoot these people. We are not that kind of people. It sounds good, all puffed up and bad ass, with no personal responsibility. But it would be a Christmas gift for the organizers.
We need boots. By the thousands. As much protective gear as possible, less than lethal weapons. A few solid guys armed to protect the rest. Bum rush them, everyone restrained. Lock them up an keep them until they are all sorted out. A velvet hammer so to speak .

[bleep] your velvet hammer. If they come to my neighborhood, I'll start shooting. We have the right to protect our lives and property. Period!
