I just put an Octane 45K in jail. Don't have any threaded barrel 45 ACP's. I thought about buying a barrel for some of my present pistols but decided against that. So who makes a decent, reasonably price threaded 45.

I was going to buy a new pistol...nothing out there interested me....instead fitted new barrels on my Series 70's Colts and higher sights

I have a HK 45 tactical that I run the same suppressor on, they’re pricey but it’s a dynamite combination. If you could pick one up used I would highly recommend it.

I have a Remington R1 Enhanced I bought from CDNN a few years ago for $700. Dead reliable and as accurate as a Briley custom I own.

I went with the XD

In looking at threaded barrel pistols, one thing that stood out, is the sights are taller. Never thought about that. Going to give this Springfield a good looking over.

FN has a good option as well.

But it's double the price.

I looked at the FN's, pricey but worth it. I haven't taken them off the list.

I have the XDM with the tall sights but i don't have a suppressor on it yet. The gun shoots great and it feels just like my 10mm xdm which is one of my new favorites. I'm thinking about ordering the threaded 9mm XDm with the extra barrel at palmetto for $469 to have all three. I've got the regular XD 9mm threaded but think I'd prefer the XDm.
