Curious on component brass. I have a 338 06 project going and wanted some of their headstamp brass. They still sku it online, emails directly to norma un answered. I called Huntington, they have been sold out for a long time. Gentlemen there who answered said it's like norma has fallen off the earth, even to dealer inquires. Was hoping Mule Deer might have some insight

I also have no clue on Norma, and it sounds as if you are set on brass headstamped "338-06." But if you just want premium brass, SPS has Overrun Nosler 35 Whelen brass, which will neck down perfectly for your 338-06, on sale for about half off retail. These are "firsts" not blems, and since I just ordered 150 for myself, I can now tell everyone else about it ;o). Good luck reaching Norma - let us know how you do. Rex

No idea what's up now, but I have noticed that recent Norma brass seems very different from some of my older stuff. Still good, but not quite the same. Going with Lapua now, or RWS in my odd ball calibers.

I know over here Norma brass has jumped through the roof price wise over the past year. Cases that used to cost around $130/100 are now up to $260/270 x 100. ????
That's a pretty steep price rise.

Looking for specialty item when companies can't fill their bulk orders?
Good luck with that.

Sez right there on the add that it’s made by Norma as (was) is Weatherby brass and ammo except for the new 6.5 I heard.
I’ve never had a case failure with many loads on Weatherby brass. Had a a few enlarged primer pockets on cases used for working up loads. Some might have been a little too warm. When they fail to snugly hold a 215M, they meet Mr. Ball Peen. Happy Trails
