I've never used a sling on an AR that I truly liked...they all sucked. The only thing worse is no sling at all. LOL.

Actually, I wish there was a good, comprehensive reference video that demonstrated the different types of slings and pointed out their strengths and weaknesses. If that inspires someone to make such a video, I'd sure like to see it done without a whole bunch of worthless, idle chatter and commentary.

I've had the same VTAC on my carbine for about 12 years for the reasons mentioned by others (excluding the pocket pool part). I have not seen any reason to switch, so I do not have any experience with others mentioned here.
