Should a Swarovski Z5 hold up well under .300 Win Mag recoil ?

Z5 will hold up fine. the Z3 is older technology and doesnt hold well to heavy recoil, this coming directly from swaro themselves. I had a Z3 on a sub 6lb 300 wsm and it held fine. Z5 is good to go for sure
