It has to be pissing off the Lefties that despite COVID, despite the riots, the market keeps going up.

I could be wrong, but I think they have a phrase for that, quantative (sp) easing. Keep the markets flush so capital doesn't pulled out to wait it out.

The Market is looking good for the time being and this is quite a test for it.
We’ll see.

We’ll see. Still scares the hell out of me. After watching oil go to a very negative value in a day's time.

I am down 10% it seems. A few hours ago I sold $15K to, in part, finance tweaking of my 73 Mach 1.

I'm back to within 1% of where I was at the start of the 'V'.....
and yes it's gotta be pizzin off the dems..... they can' seem to make anything stick...
All this protest/violence/thuggery going on, I just gottta believe that it is pizzin off more voters than not, and making more of them think about voting right rather than left.... NOV should be epic!

Seems to be holding after the dividends cut announced recently. A pretty good piece of my compensation package was stock and it is near half per share these days along with the dividend cut. That said, I am not moving. As you know the stock price runs with the price of oil and one keeps it for the dividend as part of a balanced sheet.

I’m content to sit on it along with Exxon at 36$/share. Hoping this upcoming opec mtg will keep things stabilized.

I've made some but I've been a bit timid lately. I bought about 25k worth a few weeks ago and it dropped a bunch the next few days. As soon as it came back above what a paid I started selling. Only made about $600 because I was cautious. If I would have held a few more days I'd have made a bunch.
I started in March with 57k in that acct and now it's up to about 70k. I'd like to get it over 100k in the next few months but I'll have to get back off 4he sidelines to do it. Waiting for another dip.

Great. congrats I started with 205 K end of March and just broke 290 K today on personal investment account. I said WTF and invested heavily. I take profits out weekly and put in savings. My work 401 k. I pulled out of market last December and reinvested beginning of April up almost 200 k in profits as of today . I'll pull out by end of this week and wait a bit again. Cant beat that. Been a long time market has been like this. Of course set up to pull out at day's notice. I like down days/bad news where you can find the bargains which happen almost weekly. The Market is looking good for the time being and this is quite a test for it.
