I asked my wife (RN) what exactly was peritonitis? She explained it to me and it sounds like Rick is doing good to be out of surgery and recovering. She explained that it is basically like a ruptured appendix and that he was lucky to make it to surgery.

Glad to hear he is doing better. Prayers sent for Rick, Terah and family.

Man, the things that happen when you're gone for a couple days...

The Bin family has my very best wishes for Rick's quick and complete recovery. I hope to see him back here soon!

Best regards,
Scott

Trophy in this case, an appellation that's both accurate and inadequate. There's only one Terah, and since she can belong to only one man, I'm glad that she's Rick's.

He's in good hands.*

*( and soon, I hope, a whole lot less of a burden! Up and out of there ASAP, Rick!)

My friend the late Russ Carpenter was in the blind to the right of mine. A flight of geese took-off in the distance, flew first to our left, then curved around toward us, and flew over the line of blinds directly above Russ's blind. On the single BANG! of his twelve-gauge, two Canadas folded into limp blobs and dropped out of line. They hit the ground, plop, plop, close behind his blind. I called him "Lucky" for the rest of his life. (Russ just grinned.)

Russ is gone now and Rick, I'm very hopefully nominating you to be the next guy whom we all call "Lucky."

Get well soon, Hermanito!
