I need a 6' x 12' + trailer to haul a Kubota UTV 900 and a Kubota ZD1211 60" zero turn.

Does anyone on here know a brand of trailer that is perhaps a cut above the others?

I live within 25 miles of Mt. Pleasant Texas the trailer manufacturing mecca of the US, so I should have a good choice of brands.

My budget is 2000$

I’ve had a big Tex in the past. It was well made.

Sold it for a larger trailer for my SxS.
It’s a no name from Jimmys trailer store.

Works just as a well.

I’d look more at the construction than brand.

Tube top rail. Welds look like something made quality work and not by a methhaed looking to quick buck.

i did a lot of research a few years ago and settled on gatormade. not sure if you have them in your area or not. its very heavy duty. 3500 lb axle, 15 inch wheels, all powdercoated, spring assisted ramp and LED lites, i bought a 12 footer and it was just under 2k with a spare tire. when you compare it to the home depot models you can see the difference.

While we have a Big-Tex utility trailer.......however, I’m a big fan of Titan trailers. I did a lot of comparison shopping before buying our hydraulic dump trailer. Titan just seemed to be a step ahead of the competition in many aspects of construction and components. Our dump trailer came standard with, torsion suspension, led lighting, thicker steel decking/sides and other items......and this was about 8 or 10 years ago. I can’t say how they build their utility trailers, but you could probably do a construction comparison between leading brands! memtb

How do you keep your trailer from being stolen? Are the locks for hitches effective? Wheel locks? Noob here wants to know.

I bought a 16 footer dual axle from this company in 2014:
https://www.triunetrailersales.com/tandem-axle

Made 5 round trips between TN and CO and it was loaded to the gills. We use the trailer at least once a month hauling gravel or dirt. Never had anything go wrong with it. Not sure who builds them but they are built well.
Great prices and solid construction.

After my 16' tandem was stolen I replaced it with a Big Tex 3500SA, used for my Polaris Ranger 570 full size. Perfect for almost 8 years now.

My dad has a Performance brand 14’ with a ramp gate. He picked it up for a song from some dude needing cash but it’s a really nice trailer.

I built mine out of C channel and square tubing back when I was welding.

Steer well clear of the ones sold at Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight. Do like suggested above and look for pipe handrails and decent looking welds. I wouldn’t buy one that had any smaller than 15” wheels for your purposes either and 16s would be better. I prefer Bulldog style hitches over the cheap stamped metal ones too, one little tab breaks on the cheapy ones and you have a runaway trailer.

I bought I Bear Track all aluminum utility trailer 17 years ago. It has sat outside the entire time. Save for some scuffs and fading, it's as good as the day I brought it home. Also, it's made in Minnesota, just like me.

After looking at used trailers, I decided to spec out a new Big Tex trailer to my needs. Got the best quality single axle 10' for just a couple hundred more than a non-optimized used trailer.

I am sure there are better trailers out there, but this one has served me well.

Whatever you get, you should consider a tandem axle trailer. More stable and a smoother ride for the cargo. Been there and done that, I won't consider a single axle for anything more than a 12' trailer.

Scared me there for a minute, I had to run out and see if mine was still there.

Covered or uncovered? I have an alumiunm Featherlite v nose covered with a ramp door that I like a lot. For an uncovered utility trailer Trophy Trailer made in Stanley, WI. is the best one I've ever found. I use the dickens out of mine and get lots of compliments on it. All aluminum, so no rust issues ever.

I'm looking at an aluminum one myself. In PA you need to get them inspected if the payload is over 3000 pounds. So 2950 on the sticker is popular here.
I wanted aluminum removable rails so it is easy to haul mulch etc. I figure cry once.
