Lots of school districts have their own homeschool program. (Mine does).

Kids enrolled in the homeschool program can fully participate in all district sports and activities. They can even be duel enrolled and take a few classes at the brick and mortar school and do the rest in the home school program. It’s a cash cow for school districts because they get almost the same funding but it’s considerably cheaper to “homeschool“ a kid. Costs 13k a year to educate a brick and mortar kid in my district.

Academically it's not even a question. The only real concern is sports.

The biggest challenges would be Chemistry, Physics and the various Mathematics all up to and including the college-level, that and watching constantly that Johnny is doing his work and not browsing porn.

I hadn't heard of that, sounds like a plan, sounds like the future actually. Already there's courses like Health that kids can take entirely online, prob'ly that fraction will increase..

Other things like science lab facilities are problematic at home. Things like Advanced Physics and Calculus benefit enormously from face to face instruction.

What, you're gonna tell us that in high school if they woulda just left you in front of a computer on the innernet all day you would have been diligently doing your work?

Local news here just reported that to create a more inclusive, less threatening school environment, Denver Public Schools is voting on a resolution that would cancel their contract with Denver PD to have officers on site.

"We want to make sure all students in all of our schools, especially our students of color, feel safe and protected," school board member Tay Anderson said Thursday.

I can’t see that happening. Seems like the leadership of the commies at least would realize that the cops are really protecting criminals from us more so than protecting us from criminals. I can’t believe they’d really like to see their voter base strung up from lampposts. And speaking of lampposts, what’s to stop the politicians from getting strung up too?

Speaking for White folks, what would happen if law enforcement and the criminal justice system disappeared today would be a short flurry of massive killing off of criminals, either by shooting or hanging, followed by a very polite, stable, and armed, society.

All of the Hollyweirdos that are advocating for defunding all PDs across the nation can afford private security details. But I am sure CNN and MSDNC will point that out!

Yes. Already the Mpls. Public Schools have kicked out the school cops, the Uof M said "good-bye" to mutual aid and the Mpls. Park Police said = "never mind".
Now I hope they dismantle the MPD and turn it into a cadre of social workers. I can't find a better example of group Darwin Theory.

I mentioned it because it is interesting data point relating to this thread. I dont live in Denver.

But if I was a tax paying citizen of Denver, it'd bother me. Because the next Columbine style shooting in a Denver school with no security will lead to massive lawsuites - paid by the tax payers.

Yeah but it will be paid by the tax payers who voted for the idiots who thought it was a good idea to get rid of the police.

FTR, I am not an anarchist, anarcho-capitalist, or any such. But I do keep my eyes open and observe gov't.

Police departments protect:
1. Government
2. The affluent ruling class (gov't+corporations+academe+media)
3. Ruling class pawns (blacks, mexicans, antifa)
Any protection granted to regular folks is almost coincidental, reliant on the individual LEO's good conscience.

So I am of the mind, "Bring it on, b!tch."

But, let us flip the script: What would happen if (instead of eliminating the police) we airlifted every single black over the ocean to Wakanda?

Well, roughly half the violent & property crime would also be gone. We might not need police in many places.

Having several community forces who know everyone within their area of jurisdiction. Something like the native towns in Alaska, where a couple Eskimos keep the peace, make arrests and hold people until the Stater shows up to collect the accused, sounds like the liberals hopeful idea for replacement of cop shops.

Don’t get overly wound up about this BS...

After several soccer mom’s and their daughters get gang raped all over the country.

The liberals themselves would put an end to this abortion of an idea.

My sister homeschooled her daughter and son. Her daughter graduated with honors from MIT with a degree in Biomed engineering and her son is on Deans list at U of Maryland comp sci dept. Probably helps my sister has a Phd and taught at MIT and U KS LoL

Know dozens of home schooled kids and all turned out very successful , employed and no drug issues, no living at home with mommy and daddy as adults.

I've always tended to do whatever I feel like.

But that doesn't change the fact that you were replaced by an iPad.

If every black person in the US moved to Wakanda next week, we’d still be stuck with the white liberals and “others” that are behind this kind of schit. The crime rates would drop like you said and the liberals wouldn’t have the votes they need to remain as such an immediate threat but their insidious influence throughout the institutions would remain.
