Thanks pard, little does he know I worked with Glenn Abbott in numerous scoring sessions while David Morris was getting his NW big game records going. 😂👍 He can Google Glenn Abbott while he's googling "how to score mule deer"...
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

Among others, I enjoy messin' with 338's. Top to bottom, Sako M995, 338 Lapua, Remington Sendero, 338 RUM, Rem. 700, 338-06 AI I like playing with diferent bullet/load combos. I've had good luck with the 185 GMX out of a 338 Federal So I figure, what the hey. Why not try it with a skosh more velocity! Most likely I will end up perforating hoglets. I can kill them year round, and they make about the best tasting bullet test media I have found to date. I plan on using this one for targets of opportunity at 175 yds. plus. ya' never can tell what may stop by!'' Yup! GWB

Anyone have issues with the ELD-X? Tried the 162 in the 280AI and couldn't get them to group for chit with IMR4350 or RL26. The 145LRX shoots so well I didn't finish trying some other test loads with RL26 for probably a year, until today. Might have had them around 3.4, forgot, but pushed them in to 3.31" just to try. 61.0 was okay, but nothing impressive. 61.5 went .37". Then 62.0 went over 2". Are these things really that finicky?

Great photos guys.. Gee, you just post with a different flavor than jud.. All cool stuff.. Did you get the kudu??????? Jud's a stud! Me, well as my kids say "the cheese is old and moldy"! As to the Kudu, no, got one other pix of him. We are near Concan Tx, on a low fenced/no fence ranch of some 60K acres. A 750 acre ranch sold here a few years back. Who ever bought it prolly has more money that god. He has high fenced it and put in blacktop roads around the perimeter, and stocked it will all kind of exotic critters. I figure this kudu probably got out when a flash flood took out a low water fence. As the crow flies it's probably only about 6 miles away. We had fun with this though. One of the guys on the lease drinks way too much beer. He may start at 6AM. Anywho, his best bud edited the picture in the previous post to show that it was taken at 8:15 in the AM on opening weekend of rifle season, at RD's close feeder, which is about 120 yds. from his stand. We convinced him that he'd been asleep when the Kudu showed up at his feeder and he missed the shot of a lifetime( in Texas one can shoot non-indigenous game 24/7/365) . He was super-bummed. We've never told him the difference! TFF, GWB
