Then if I had my perimeter Dog, I would let him clearout the surrounding area for safety. Then immediately go to condition 1 and fire two rounds into the air. Everyone’s hands up, tellers crying…the whole deal. He had his Browning 300 Win mag in his truck and dropped the perp in the doorway as he was leaving. Sat in his truck and waited on the LEO’s to arrive. Not one thing happened to him. He was “released” to go on his way. His rifle wasn’t taken, etc. They took his drivers license info and said goodbye. He was later contacted to provide a statement and that was that. Told me he had the crosshairs on him the whole time through the window but was afraid to shoot because of potential ricochet. Got his chance in less than a minute… You only live once, but...if you do it right, once is enough.
