Check out Olde Dog. I “discovered” them in a thread just like this one here. They sew wallets using repurposed sail material. I love mine; super thin but very well made and has taken a lickin so far. Much better than leather. https://oldedogsewing.com/pages/olde-dog-wallets

They belong on the left hip.

I still use the same wallet I've always had. Got it from my dad over 20yrs ago and it was used then. The velcro doesn't hold much anymore but its been solid. I don't plan on changing it anytime soon.

A fourth vote for Will on AR Mine shows no wear after 5 years. I’ve gotten a couple more as gifts and folks love them. 4th set of soles on my elephant cowboy boots. Tough stuff

I’m in search of a good Men’s Wallet. I don’t have a preference of leather or nylon, but tired of buying junk. I’ve owned couple of Filson’s in the past and they are ok, but maybe there is something better.
Thanks in advance. Allet wallet, original slim nylon. Much thinner than most wallets. You can carry a bunch of cards, receipts, and bills and it doesn't become a thick lump.

I've had the same blue nylon/velcro Amity for the last 40 years. The company is out of business, so eBay would be the first place to look.

I use a rubber band and keep the stuff together in my front pocket.... no wallet.
In 1965 I was 14 years old and the motorcycle caused the wallet to keep falling out of my hip pocket. I never went back.

I'm going to have to look into some of the wallets listed here. I like leather and my old one has seen better days.

I have not built one yet though. Interesting. I have put together (sewn and laced) two wallet kits from Tandy in the past 40 years or so. The one I have now is 20+ years old and still functioning fine. Be sure and show us what you put together when you get to it Jim.

Thanks much, I'm going to give one of these a try! I'm tired of cheap azz wallets lasting a few years.

I suppose it depends on what you want to tote around in your wallet. Years back I had a nice bi-fold leather one with a coin purse, bill pocket, second bill pocket, key slot, credit card pockets, picture pockets, business card pocket... And then I wondered why my right hip was bothering me. That much wallet was pressing on my sciatic nerve every time I sat on that thing. Then I found a little 3.5x4” Polo wallet in a men’s store that has three credit card size pockets on both sides and bill pocket slit in the center. No more sciatica and the thing feels like it is hardly there.
My other auto is a .45
