I'll have to decide if I'm doing fall hunting and I need to get ready for next spring...
And we all got quiet in this forum.
So what are you doing for next spring?
Me... Put my gear away way ready to roll next spring (or fall) throw away stuff that didnt work locate and scout more hunting spots
Whats your plans?

It was a tough year for me too. Season started the 15th of April and I didn’t get a bird till the 7th of May. Couldn’t seem to get the birds close enough for me. So my time will be spent working on my calling, the turkey’s voted and they think I suck at it. Also going to try some of the premium turkey loads, maybe the TSS lads everyone likes. Will have to pattern them and they are expensive.

Heard no gobbling and saw no birds all season hunting a very small area. Now, a full month after the season went out, there are turkeys everywhere, gobbling in the morning and in full strut mode. As I was leaving the house this morning there were 2 gobblers completely fanned out with 8 hens around them, all visible from my back door. I assume that initial nests or poults were lost and they are going to attempt to re-nest.
The biggest problem our country has is not systemic racism, it's systemic stupidity.

My WI season ended a week ago. I too saw/heard very little to nothing. The day after my season ended I was packing the truck up early, 5AM, and had gobbling all around me, one only about 50 yards away. I took it as a Haha!, slap in the face, lol!, and vow to be back with a vengeance! Lol!

Got a couple pounds of TSS in and data for a new 1 3/8oz load to try. Looks like a soft shooter. Need to load some up and try it out.
Trying to nail down a Merriam's outfitter for next Spring.
Waiting for my turn to come up on a trumpet maker's waiting list.
Got to get a fan mount done to get it off the top of the microwave...ha.

I think the most insulting thing a turkey did to me was....
Season A... on snow... I called a bird in across a open field, but over the hill out of eye sight.
I found his tracks in the snow where he stopped and turned away....
After leaving a massive pile of crap.
That was his opinion of my calling I guess.
