Are out of stock everywhere. Whats the deal? Looks like most everything else can be found within reason. Looking to work up a load fro my new tikka 7mm08 what's another good bullet option for me?
Given Tikka's reputation for accuracy, maybe you'd be interested in seeing what you can do with something in a higher BC configuration. The 7-08 can push 140s and 150s to pretty respectable velocities and there are lots of bullets available in those weights. If nothing else it would give you something to fiddle with until the 120 BTs are available again.

There's so many options in 7mm bullets. My current 7-08 shoots the 139btsp great. It's also been fed the Hornady 154 spire point and the 150bt a little. Both look promising, but I need to play with them more.
The 120 BTs are definitely special. I would bend over backward to get them. From everything I've seen they kill way faster and hit way harder than the heavier bullets. Just one of those things I would never have believed until I saw it again and again and again. The 120 Sierras are very accurate and I've worked up loads for them but haven't zapped any animals with them yet.
You can also find Nosler factory ammo loaded with 120 BT's for about $27 a box right now at several places. Get you some good brass and save the load workup until the bullets are available again.

I have been wondering the same thing. IIRC Shooters Pro Shop has not offered them for at least a year. If Nosler is making them I'd think there would be overruns and blems offered for sale occasionally. But that said I cannot find certain .30 caliber BT's that I would like to restock.
