A few weeks ago I posted on this forum, asking if anyone knew how to contact TPS Products after trying email, their website messaging and phone, with no response from them after ordering their Basebed alignment tool online, on the 8th of May. I received no response until 2 weeks after I placed my order. The response said my order was being shipped and no explanation of the lack of communications. During a bit of research about this Basebed tool after my order, I found some interesting info about TPS's mode of doing business. They offer all of their stock to TPS Forum members before filling orders to non TPS Forum members. I do not like this and will probably not do business with them again. You can read about this for yourself on this link, https://www.sniperforums.com/forum/optics/940-lapping-rings.htmlThat being said, I think I will really like this Basebed alignment tool. It accomplishes what I always do with a lapping bar, alignment rail and scope rings when mounting 2 piece bases on a rifle, but this tool makes it somewhat easier and at least theoretically should be a bit more precise. It aligns the bases on all 3 planes. When I get around to using it, I will do a review and post it up. RJ dell keyboard spacebar sticking

Double Bubble Epoxy? I thought they made bubble gum???
OK, seriously, I'm glad it's worked out in the end.

The close up of the base in the third photo looks like the base is not in alignment with the tool. I would like to see some numbers with and without the gauge to see if there is an improvement in alignment. It looks well made and like it will make mounting easier at the least.

Tejano, the base is aligned with the tool. These particular bases were crudely modified on the bottom to sit lower on the Tikka T3 receiver surface. the modified ground out edge of the base is not parallel to the weaver edge of the base. The way this tool is machined, you can't help but have the bases aligned. RJ
