Way back in the pre Covid days I booked a floatplane charter to drop my daughter and I into sheep country fot the youth season.

I spoke to them a week ago and was told that we were good to go. Then today I got word that they are shutting down for the entire season due to excessive cancelations....


So I plan to carry my deposit over for next year, but I'm wondering: do any of you know of reliable opperators that are planning to fly this season?

Unless you guys can come up with a good alternative I think that we will be headed down to POW for blacktail. My 11 year old is trying to be a good sport, but she is bummed to say the least.

Where is the hunt? Too much area in AK for any dozen carriers to work...

We were booked for the central Brooks Range.

Any interest in doing the 5 mile walk?

Who were you supposed to fly with, that will tell us who not to put on our list of air carriers.

I booked with Brooks Range Avation. I don't hold this against them with all this Covid mess. I don't expect anyone to run thier business at a loss just for me.

Flew with Coyote for moose back in 2009; nice folks.
