After calling the cops, it took 1 hour and 21 minutes for them to show up, after repeated calls and calls to the mayor's office. That was the day we decided to move our business, though that took awhile.
The Cleveland police are worthless. Not the officers' fault. They just don't have enough cops or support. I know of a case where a woman called and said someone was breaking into her house. They didn't have an operational cruiser and could not respond.
When I was growing up, the city's population was 917,000. Now it's about 375,000. Coincidence?
Some have asked how decent people can vote for loons to run big cities. Well, the decent people, black and white who can afford to, move out to the suburbs and vote there. The remaining detritus doesn't care. The politicians, faced with less tax revenue, reduce the number of police.

Sounds like Nashville in the 1950's except it was the cops who were running the protection racket. Ex cons were targeting small businesses with the cooperation of the police department. They used retired officers as bagmen to shake down the business owners. Businessmen who refused to pay up got their places vandalized or broken into. Dad and his business partner took turns sleeping at their auto shop for a couple of weeks after warning one of the bagmen that anyone who entered the premises would be shot. They got the message. There are 2 types of "conservatives" in Seattle-------------- and in the whole USA for that matter.
Type #1 are those that will take a stand, even at personal risk by being highly active in opposition to communist overthrow of the nation.
Type #2 are those that whine, but DO nothing at all, and sure will not incontinence themselves any in way shape form or manor.
Then there are the communists who force their agenda on everyone by any means ------------ legal or illegal.
You vote for or against communism and godlessness in 2 manors. Way number 1 is by active force and refusal to cooperate with them no matter what. Way number 2 is by in-action, believe somehow the effects of communism and godlessness will not effect you, even if they effect everyone else.
