Does this seem like a reasonable price to you all? I have no connection with the seller. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/871518387

It's a very nice example but of course that is a premium price...…$1,500 would be more reasonable.....

Seems high to me As someone above said, $1500 seems reasonable. But to a collector, who knows.

Better wood than on any I have handled. Sold last one I had for about $1500. Be interesting to see if it can bring this amount.

As others have said it's pricey but has decent wood and it's an excellent caliber. Nicest wood I've seen in a while as well and IMHO it's still not that great.

If I were itching all over for a nice 7-by Number 1, I wouldn't let a few hundred extra bucks keep me from my dream, provided of course that my babies weren't gonna go hungry. WTF is money for except to purchase that which gives us pleasure?
Not as nice as some, but plenty nice. That dark wood and matte finish work well together.

Pappy348 those 7 x 57s are short range caliber guns. Be Well, Rustyzipper.

My only concern would be about the fit and finish. My last new one was okay, but not awesome. The wood and metal on this one deserve awesome.

Way better than the wood on mine. I'm sort of like Pappy: if I wanted it I'd not worry about a couple hundred dollars, especially if it's something I'm going to use. If you're thinking of picking it up to sell later, it'll just take a bit longer to get your money back.
Just my $.02

If it was $1500 or so I'd be all over it and I have three rifles chambered for the 7X57 already. I bought a Lipsey's #1 in 250 Savage a couple of months ago and the wood is very disappointing.

Just bought a Lipsey's 257 Weatherby and the wood looks like from the same source, could even be the same damn tree. Mine is a grade or two less than that one but still pleasant. At $1,500 I thought it was a fair price but pushing my budget. But then I thought the stock alone would be 3/4+ of that if you went custom. So same as others at $1,500 I would be tempted, current price I don't want it that bad.
