iddave; Good evening to you sir, I'll dispense with my usual salutation as I can see you and yours are doing just fine.
Thanks so much for sharing the photo of your family outing, it's such a nice change from the mayhem which seems to be consuming all of our collective worlds anymore.
It's good to see folks tending to the important things in life, such as making memories and forging bonds with family that'll last a lifetime.
These then - in my view as a semi-old guy - are the things that matter, will last and be remembered after all else in this year is a bad memory, you know?
Thanks again sir and all the best to you and yours as we head into summer.
Dwayne

Looks fun.
And tell her not to feel bad. I won't hold them either.

There's 2 dates they carve on your tombstone. Everyone knows what they mean. What's more important is time that is known as the little dash inbetween.

Some great memories being made there. Some of my earliest fishing memories are fishing with one of my grandfathers from about age 6. It's a big thrill for most kids.

Nice. Nothing quite like the feeling watching your kid reel one in. Remind her in a couplle days about that feeling and let her know you had just as much fun. Savor the good times with family.

My main hunting partner and I took my 13yo daughter out for an afternoon fishing trip. It was windy and rainy as hell, but she was game and we managed to bring a few into the net before turning them loose. She wasn’t real keen on holding them, but she was damn happy to reel them in! Can’t remember the last time she and I had so much fun. Dave Best post this week!
