Weren’t the Arabs a big driving force in the slave trade? From what ive read, they gave the newly aquired slave the option to become muslims and have a better life in certain ways. They are also the ones who would organize certain tribes and get them to “hunt” other tribes, usually for the trade. Slaves would be captured inland and forced to carry ivory out to the coast. The ivory and slaves were then sold.

My son's 14 and at work today I was asking if he thought the rewards of his hard work this week should be taken and given to a bunch of homeless dope addict crackers hanging out where we were driving through. He told me they'd studied natural selection in school this year and he figured that if someone healthy wasn't willing to provide for themselves maybe nature should weed them out. He's up at 6:00am most mornings without me waking him up. I hope like hell I can keep him in the direction he's heading. My daughter is 19 and about as conservative/capatilist as you can get.
