I have a chance to buy a SWFA 5-20 illuminated or Bushnell LRHSi 4.5-18x 44 G2H Reticle Illuminated for about the same money ($800-ish)

Which and why?

Hunting and shooting off the bench.

I’ve owned several of both...I’ve sold the LRHSi scopes due to the reticle. The SWFA’s aren’t going anywhere.

The 5-20 HD is a beast of a scope.

Tough decision, but only due to reticle preference. Both are excellent.

I've been looking at the 5-20 and liking what I see... which reticle do you have and would you go that way again if you got another one?

Hard to go wrong there, but I'd be leaning LRTSi just because of the feature set. Both have great glass and are dead reliable.

Yes, definitely!

Milquad FFP reticle.

I bought one, then two more to replace the LRHSi scopes I had. I just couldn’t warm to the doughnut of death.
