I always thought Petty was a goofball, talks like a bumpkin, and looks like a guy who stuck his head out the window of his car while wearing his cowboy hat, and a sparrow splatted on the front of his hat.

I hope this adds another nail to the coffin. Poor neighbor kid just graduated and is going into the sport. He is falling in his Dad’s footsteps, who works on one of the bigger teams. Dad is disgusted with this whole situation. This fabricated stunt needs to bite them in the ass.

I read the Woods Brothers tweet. This was on Tuesday the 23rd. They said in that tweet they notified NASCAR yesterday (meaning the 22nd, Monday)

I don't know that it makes a difference in the timeline as the picture shows the Woods Brother team member there on Sunday before the rope was cut.

That "noose" looks to be about four feet above the floor. Maybe a guy three feet tall would use it.
