I haven't used the Fusions in 7mm at magnum speed. I've yet to catch one at that speed out of a 270 (deer, some version of broadside) or a 223 (biggest buck I've killed, quartering steeply, in rear ribs and out the point of the opposite shoulder, about 2 feet of penetration). If they shoot well, I'd feel comfortable using them on anything big I'd hunt: deer, elk, bear. I've not seen one fail, and I've not caught any, but my sample size is small - 4. It helped that my biggest buck took that bullet hard and made it about 4 steps, and that the little 62 grain thing penetrated so much, doing much damage before exiting. I wouldn't have imagined that before I saw it.
