Last evening. Didn’t talk very long, as I forgot about the time difference between PA and Texas and called just before supper there.
His family’s doing well, but he fell and it caused a compression fracture on a couple vertebrae, so he’s laid up a little. If you’re inclined, include him in your prayers.
I told him there’s a pile of us that miss him around here, but I think he got fed up with the idiots. I told him I really missed his wit and his wisdom. He’s got a unique view on things and a sharp wit to go with it.
A fellow I’m proud to call a friend.

He was one of the first that I came to see as a really good guy when I first joined.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.
