Just received new Bushmaster carbon 15. Beautiful little rifle. The trigger is the worst factory trigger I've ever seen. Lots of creep and heavy pull. Just horrible! Can anyone recommend a good single stage trigger? Thanks. If I was Bushmaster I would be embarrassed to sell a rifle with such a trigger. I plan to have speaks with them about it.

Take a look at the JARD single stage triggers http://www.jardinc.com/products.htm . They can give you a nice crisp, creep free, two pound release, with no take up or over travel. They will make bolt action varmint rifle owners envious.

From a cost perspective I went with the RRA 2 stage match and am very happy with it. I have a bushy target model with a HP upper, and a second upper for PD's in 204 ruger.

What Gunslinger said....I just installed the 1 1/2 lb model on my AR and absolutely love it....and yes it could make a bolt action owner envious..

My DPMS AR-10 also had a hideous factory trigger. A local guy worked on it and make it acceptible for $75. I'll be putting a "real" trigger on it eventually, but for now it's very shootable... 10 shots into .85" at 100 yards. So that might be an option for you.

Jard if single stage, RRA tuned or not, if 2 stage is ok. RRA are sometimes 70ish bucks on sale at times....

My RRA is slightly heavier than some would like (I don't mind it) but it's smooth and I shoot it darn well.

Dealer called Bushmaster about "bad" trigger. He was told 6-8 Lbs with creep was "in spec" for military trigger. BSBSBS! I'll call Bushy tommorrow.

You won't get a better answer either I suspect. Never shot one without creep from them, but have a bit less weight.

Ever shoot a REAL military trigger on an AR??? That'll really open your eyes.
