It got to Louisiana about 10 days ago. Muggy like warm soup. Heat index was 86F at 5:45AM this morning, although I really can't complain, as it's been fairly mild up until recently. We've had years where we were hitting 100F ambient temps in May. Just have to survive the next 12 weeks or so, as we generally see a break in the heat somewhere around the 3rd week of September.
Now with even more aplomb

About 80, with 94% humidity here early this morning. Did the weed eater thing, and had to rest. Took a shower, changed clothes. Back out an hour later. Up over 90°, and still high humidity. Trimmed the palm tree. Back inside, covered in sweat and dirt. Second shower, and changed clothes. I am through for the day.
Yeah, it’s full in summer here in North Florida.
