It certainly reminds you that if someone (say, in the government, at the federal level, some guy in charge) wanted to actually do something to stop the subversives, it wouldn't take much at all to do so.

I'm taking my flag down and putting a blue line on it, then hanging it back up for 4th of July

I doubt my neighbors will bat an eye at it.

I wasn't really pro-cop before this antifa horseshit but now I'm going to support them publicly

i have a nephew that has a license to grow pot in Califorina. he grew it long before cali said it was ok. the stuff he has is 50x as potent as what we had in the 60's.
i will have him send me a couple pounds and drop baggies of it along the route the commies will have to travel. by the time they get here they will think they are on mars!

I figure at least 3, and perhaps 6-7 on the top end. Now I’m shooting a 530 gr RN at BP velocity so YMMV.

A surprised, sub-sonic 45-70 is a great idea.....just make sure that you go with “smokeless powder”! wink memtb

Something like it was good enough for Billy Dixon. .50-90 as I recall. His shot at a leader of violent savages was a very few yards short of 1 mile. No, he wasn’t using a scope.

You wanna hold my beer? grin

I'm not a participant, but don't them BP Cartridge fellers shoots at Buffler silhouettes at 800 or so yards? close enough to 1/2 mile?

I figger a man can hit a buffler at 800 yds, a gaggle of them protesters be just about the same size. Even if you were off a bit, like hit the buffler in the butt, you could likely take down a coupla them targets anyway.

Wonder how antifa will react when "it" starts coming to them?

They haven't so far, and I'll wager $1 that they won't - ever.

Yep.

Let me throw out this scenario: BLM/Antifa decides to forage down your country lane and gets the local sheriff's office to give them an armed escort - patrol vehicle in front and at rear. This is fantasyland you're talking about correct? That ain't happening friend. Find me a sheriff that supports these cop haters and get back to me.

I might be giving out beta but I believe that this is the average response of people living in Trump country. Well the Contractor feller 1/4 mile up the road would probably drop 100 tons of riprap with his big loader from his rock pile. That would bottle em up. The ex-military retired ranger on the top side would unload with his SA match M1A and the his daughters would join in. The Emergency Room surgeon who is on the other side who flew F16s would probably set up a trauma unit in my Shop as we live isolated with only one way in and one way out. The hard rock miners who live on the road on the other side would probably unload with their shotguns off of their surplus mining equipment. They fly St. Gadsen's flag so I not to worried about them either. Two Alaska State Troopers live over there too.
We live above a swamp and if they tried to sneak up from the swamp we have Guinea Fowl and five hives of bees in a nectar flow that are a bit pissy right now because of the bad weather. Skeeters run pretty good down there and you can see about 90 of the 160 acres of swamp from the deck.
On the other side of the Contractor about 1/3 mile away from the house, is a dry cabin with a framer who lives next to the Securitas area manager has two dobermans and shoots his 22 caliber suppressed handgun constantly on his range. He is a bit creepy but he is young 6'3" and 220lbs and walks those dogs in the evening. I think that they have some schutzhund training. The Securitas guy parks one of the armored cars in his drive way. I think that he feels safe doing it. He shoots off his porch all of the time.

Closer to me, are two other houses, one has an Active duty helicopter pilot who open carries a glock and the other has two fellas that live together with three big labs and fly a confederate flag. The gay dudes don't talk to anybody in the community and just keep to themselves. They both work at the Fort Knox Goldmine in the mill room. One of them is black. Both of those households fly drones. I think that the Helicopter pilot is sweet on the red head who lives down below.

The single redhead female who likes to sunbath naked who is about 30 who lives about 1/2 mile in the other direction down by the other entrance of the swamp. I think she is former military as a canine handler and has three of the Belgian Malinois shepards.

We live at the end of the culdesac with about 60 acres as a buffer to our left and 160 acre moose preserve below. Our house is old but built well and is the original homestead of the PDQ construction company. My wife loves her black rifles. I think that she has 6 ar-15s including a Saint with an EOtech 512 that she really likes. She is an excellent shot with it and would drop in center mass shot after shot from the deck that is covered on the front and I have a nice Marlin 1895 Guide gun in 45-70 that I would set up on the back porch and a AR10 DDV4 in a GenII to cover the general area. It would be a great place to make a last stand and with the others shooting from their houses the goblins would probably get to us.

In this situation, I don't give BLM much of a chance for success.
