I am considering a moose hunt in Newfoundland next, with maybe a stumble on bear tag. Does anybody have any good outfitters they have experience with and would recommend? I don't mind paying more (within reason), if the trophy quality is better than average. Obviously, cost is a factor though as I am not independently wealthy (still trying to work on that, without much success lol).

Moose Valley Outfitters. They have two fly-in camps. I hunted there in 2018 and scheduled to go back in Sept. if the island is open.

I used Hinterland Outfitting Ltd. They are an interior outfitter with a real nice lodge and it's a drive in to ATV trail. They do Moose, Bear and Woodland Caribou. I was very satisfied.

They’ve gone back 3 times, so I guess they’re satisfied.

I will say, they’re meat hunters, so don’t much look for racks. Though they wouldn’t turn one down if they had a chance.
