We had a food filled shindig with lots of music, campfires (yes, in this heat) and good company. I am over stuffed! This is the second feast day. The smart ones among you should take advantage of the two birfdays being so close and celebrate twice. That would be the 1st and 4th of July.

First course - steak and rolls.
Second course - lobster and cole slaw
Third course - shrimp, mussels and clams
Dessert - all kinds of pies, cakes and other fattening sweets.

There was lots of other stuff. I just picked what I could eat. I have to watch my waist.

There were all kinds of salads, bread and dips. Butter for the lobster, of course. No nutcrackers or picks for the lobster. We had to do it like we do on the beach - with knives and your bare hands.

I had a beer before supper, but could only manage a coffee for dessert. I had strawberry cheesecake and apple pie.

That looks mighty good Steve, good friends should share things, why not holidays?

I wish I could have been on Canada on Dominion Day.
