My wife's started watching this Netflix monstrosity called Marriage at First Sight. It's about 4 newlywed couples. They all were tired of the dating game and searching for a mate with no success. So, they agreed to let a committee chose a spouse for them based on their interests. They all met their spouses for the 1st time at the alter. They'd never even seen photos of each other. They did have the decency to match their races, anyway. The show is about how they get acquainted after they're married. Wifey said that after a week, only 1 of the 4 couples had even had sex because they were waiting to get acquainted before they did.
I can't imagine......
Yes, I know that arranged marriages are the norm in much of the world but this isn't the 3d world where women are possessions.
