If you are remotely interested in trying to understand why we are at such a cultural crossroads, and the role of schools/academia in it, I think you will find the attached article very interesting. The author meticulously outlines the steps taken to get us where we are. IMO, this whole ordeal was not a spontaneous event but rather a culmination of dedicated Marxists infiltrating American cultural institutions. Primarily, the entire US education system.

This is a very good article and is definitely worth reading. It describes how the Left is building power via academia and the educational system and why we hear the rhetoric we do from leftist protesters. They have moved outside logic and are definitely a threat because of that. As this articles says, forget trying to reason with them because they consider rationality to be racist.

I'm barely 32 myself, and I can say with certainty, that Marxist indoctrination in public education precedes me by an unknown, to me, amount of time. Take that for what it's worth, but it scares the shyte out of me...

I must say I am amazed that every well informed conservative hasn't known this for years.
The lefts control of academia started with the Frankfurt school.... a bunch of Marxist academics driven from Europe around the beginning of WW11.
Southern Calif. academia welcomed them with open arms and planted the seeds we are seeing sprouting today.

Look up the Yuri Bezmenov videos from the early 90s, and he'll give you a clue as to how far along we are. .. IMO we are past the destabilization phase, and are into the "new normal" phase.

While I haven’t read the article yet, it’s pretty well documented that the socialist/Marxist have been in control of our universities, training future generations of students for in excess of 50 years! memtb

If you want to know how Marxist dogma gets a foothold in academia, its in the same fashion Bernie Sanders, Bill Clinton and Barry get in politics.

Its funded as a systematic expenditure.

Americans wonder how this could happen, yet Social Security, public education and the local government building a water park or sewer system for a developer goes over everyones head....

Been known for years.. We call it the 'public indoctrination system' around here.. More and more parents are home-schooling and/or enrolling kids in private or religious-based schools..

Government needs to be out of the school business, taxpayers need to stop funding them.

But somehow YOUR KIDS, YOUR RESPONSIBILITY doesn't sit well with liberals and 'conservatives'

That is how they took over schools and other organizations. One of them gets hired and, because they are indoctrinated in "cancel culture" they will refuse to hire anyone who is not in on their leftism. After a generation or two, an entire organization is nothing but Lefties.

Vatican II was a literal revolution in the institutional Catholic Church. Post Vatican II Catholic institutions are the worst. Totally radicalized leftists.
