Whoa, Just saw where Patrick Mahomes (KC Chiefs QB) signed for $503M for 10 years. Supposedly the largest contract in professional sports history. Wonder if they will have enough $ left over for a team around him?

Just maybe people will stop watching the NFL and justifiably so, then the ad money will dry up along with the outrageous salaries.

Many players are being paid more than they can spend. It's become a game to see who can get the most. The amount is irrelevant as long as it's more than the next guy.

Absolutely.

And the truth is, most of these guys put that money right back in the economy. Many are broke by the time they retire or shortly after.

It's a great stimulus plan. Lol.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

I think the NBA has crossed that threshold allowing slogans to be worn on their jerseys. NFL is knocking on the door of unwatchable with all of the commercials and BS the players are spouting. Time to go support your local High School teams instead.

He better save every year's paycheck, because in about TWO years - if the NFL keeps going in the same direction - there won't be any football or teams to pay him...
