With all of the hullabaloo about ain't your mama pancake batter mix decided to put up my mom's recipe here. Best I've ever had.

When I was growing up I never got that you had to mix the dry ingredients and the liquid ingredients separately and then you would blend them together to make the final batter.

Try it and if you like it sound off here so others might also want to save the recipe.

Legacy to my mom. She's a tremendous cook.

CashisKing's Mom's Pancake and Waffle Recipe

2 cups flour
2 heaping tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbs sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Mix dry ingredients

1/2 stick butter melted
1 egg
1 1/2 cups buttermilk (more will be needed)
1 tsp vanilla

Mix liquid into dry ingredients and add more buttermilk to desired thickness. You can make waffles or pancakes with this recipe.

It's so easy a caveman can do it.

I'm a French toast master but the grandkids like pancakes also, the premixes are ok at best.
