They aren’t specific to the gen II
Save yourself a headache and just order the magpul ones they work great in my gen ii

that was a question I couldn't find the answer to, so the LR 308 magazines are the same for Gen 2...is that right?

I use the Magpul versions in my Remington R-25 GII (Rebadged DPMS). If I recall, they don't always lock back the bolt when empty unless you do a slight dremel mod to them. I never run a mag dry in the field, so I can't really remember, but they feed well and are cheap enough. I like the 10rnd, but ordered a 20rnd last week to try it out. I also have a Stoner 10rnd I bought and it doesn't feed reliably, so I went MagPul.

Never had any issues with my dpms genii not locking back, and they feed well, any LR308 designed ones work in the genii guns
I also prefer the 10 rounders Over the 20s
