No trouble indoor or in the shade. But if the sun bounces off that string it glares pretty good, thus messing up my otherwise stellar aim!

Maybe too much wax?

Any "old timer" tricks or web wonders appreciated.

Won't work. Won't cover over the wax that is on the string already. Not "globbed" on there, just there as it's supposed to be.

Was thinking maybe there is a "non-glare" wax? Or maybe add some dull black thread like a serving, but concerned that might cut the string.

Maybe some eye black? It's even made by Easton!!

Was advised by the good folks at Bob Lee Bows to use acetone to remove the wax, and the D97 string did not need waxing anyway. Go figure. I got most of the wax off, but it's still pretty shiny so I just picked up a new string.
