One more thing. You probaly already know this but it's worth repeating. You can't just throw any old scope on a gun like the R9. You need one set up for double recoil, and one that can focus in very close. You can find a list of good scopes from the link below.

Thanks for the tips! I had heard they were hold sensitive and tear apart scopes not meant for airgunning.
For now I'll stick with the iron sights and just get used to the rifle. Planing on puttin a peep sight on her eventually.
