I'll be that guy. I don't think I could sit through an episode of anything western mentioned here. Could when I was a kid. alot of shows are westerns, just not set in the 1800's. Firefly - a popular sci-fi show is a Western Heck, you could argue Star Trek is a western - Have Gun, Will Travel was written by Gene Roddenberry Think about the format of a western - stock plot of depicting a crime, then showing the pursuit of the wrongdoer, ending in revenge and retribution, which is often dispensed through a shootout I'll see if'n I can locate some Have Gun.... I recall suffering my dad thru episodes of The Lone Ranger as a kid. He said he didn't like them 20 years ago why would he now! Don't much care for the movies many call Classics too. Just boring I am.

On... Bounty Law. Tarantino has written at least 5 episodes of Bounty Law. I expect to see it on Netflix soon. DiCaprio will not be in it though

I believe Gunsmoke was the longest running show ever - 635 episodes. Should be enough to keep you busy for quite a while. I think you'll find that the Simpsons is the longest scripted show on tv and still is running. was the longest running teevee show with LIVE actors, not cartoon characters. It ran 1955 through 1975. L.W. Law & Order SVU is 21 seasons long RemModel8, you're correct. I didn't realize it was still running. I never wrote for Law & Order so haven't watched it for a long time. L.W.

if you binge watch Gunsmoke you'll also notice that Dillon just kind of made up the law as he went.
another thing is, while outside the city he'd bury a man he shot, but in the city, he just left the guy laying in the street, hotel, long branch, etc. I guess the garbage man came around and picked them up.
I've got my wife watching it with me now though.We look forward to finding time to watch an episode. Chinaman come and get them. Hogs gotta eat just the same as buzzards n worms.
