It depends on the model, whether it will be something you will need and depend on, and your willingness to potentially write the experience and money off as a learning experience.
Any of the "budget" single shot, O/U, and SxS shotguns are not that by any stretch of the imagination. One has a very high risk of breakage, excessive wear, poor to non-existent parts service, and other maladies which are cost prohibitive to fix. There is a reason Browning and Beretta guns are priced as they are and it isn't all name recognition otherwise CZ and the other low cost O/U would be in the same price bracket.
The pump and semi-autos are a bit better as they require much less hand fitting so have the potential to be more reliable and longer lasting than the above, even with limited use. Wear, parts, and cut corners are still issues but they are a lesser evil in these types of guns.
The exception would be those Pointer shotguns imported by Garcia back in the early 1970s. They look like a Browning A-5 and they are nearly as reliable as an A-5. Problem is, the parts are not interchangeable between the two with the Garcia gun having virtually no spares available. At least they are cheap enough on the used market that it would be similar to 3-4 months of Internet service so the loss would not be too great.
If you are on a limited budget, look at used quality guns. They are the best value and are unlikely to have issues. It is virtually impossible to wear them out and even if heavily used, parts and qualified repair people are available and relatively affordable.
