Anybody know the stock dimensions for the pre-64, M70's ? I am particularly interested in the specs of the original style stocks made w/o the "monte carlo" raised section style stocks. In other words, the drop at the comb and the drop at the heel of those stocks. E

I just measured my standard (no Monte Carlo) pre 64 featherweight stock and took some pictures. I think the featherweight and regular stocks were the same except for hardware, barrel channel and hole in the butt. I can send you the pictures if you PM an email. The length looks like 32.5", drop at comb 1/2", drop at heel 1-/3/8" (maybe a little larger).
